Crud products were formed in 1991, back in the day when riders were in the habit of cutting up plastic bottles and zip tying them to the down tube for front mudguards. Crud was started because the inventor wanted something that looked a little more stylish on his brand new Diamondback. He looked in the yellow pages and found a tool designer, he didn't know what it meant, or what he did, but I went along to see him anyway, and he hooked me up and designed the tool for the first crud catcher. To this day, Crud continue to provide efficient, good looking mudguards that actually work in the mud!
